What is included in “Light Editing”?

Light editing focuses on enhancing the overall quality of the image rather than altering the subject. This includes adjustments to exposure, contrast, white balance, and color grading. Think of it as developing a digital negative: we ensure the lighting is perfect and the colors pop, but we do not perform “Photoshopping” like skin smoothing or object removal.

To maintain the authenticity of your session and a consistent turnaround time, light editing does not include “heavy retouching” or “digital surgery.”

The following services are not included in standard light editing:

• Physical Alterations: Changing body shapes, removing permanent scars, or altering hair/clothing color.

• Extensive Retouching: Advanced skin smoothing or removing braces.

• Object Removal: Deleting background elements like power lines, exit signs, or “photobombers.”

• Head Swaps: Merging multiple photos to change expressions.

If you require these specific services, custom retouching is available for an additional fee per image. My priority is always to capture the beauty of the moment exactly as it happened!

I exclusively shoot as a Boutique Solo Filmmaker. This allows me to maintain a very “light footprint” and a quiet, unobtrusive presence on your wedding day.

• Intimate & Discreet: Because it’s just me, I can blend into the background, allowing you and your guests to feel completely relaxed. This helps me capture those genuine, candid, “airy” moments that happen when people forget the camera is there.

• The Multi-Camera Advantage: Even though I work alone, I utilize a sophisticated multi-camera setup. I strategically place stationary cameras to capture secondary angles (like the ceremony wide-shot or the guest’s reactions) while I personally man the primary camera for those intimate, cinematic close-ups.

• A Consistent Vision: By handling every camera and every audio source myself, I ensure that every frame of your 60-minute feature film perfectly aligns with my signature aesthetic from start to finish.

The Boundary: Solo Shooting Standards

To ensure I provide the highest level of quality as a solo creator, I adhere to these professional standards:

• Strategic Placement: I arrive early to coordinate the placement of my “silent” cameras and audio recorders. This ensures all angles are covered without me needing a large team moving around and distracting your guests.

• Focus on Artistry: Being a solo shooter means I am extremely selective and intentional with my shots. I prioritize storytelling and quality over “coverage for the sake of coverage.”

• Exclusivity: Because I handle the filming and the 60-minute edit personally, I only take on a limited number of weddings per year to ensure each film receives my full creative attention.

What is the final product I will receive?

You will receive a Full-Length Wedding Feature Film, typically running about 60 minutes. Unlike a short highlight reel, this is a comprehensive, beautifully edited cinematic record of your entire celebration.

Your Feature Film includes:

• The Full Story: A chronological journey through your day, from the quiet, luminous moments of getting ready to the high energy of the dance floor.

• The Big Moments in Full: I include your full wedding ceremony and the entirety of your reception toasts, edited with professional multi-angle shots and crystal-clear audio.

• Signature “Airy” Aesthetic: Even though the film is long-form, every scene is color-graded to my signature bright, soft, and timeless style.

• Digital Delivery: Your film is delivered via a private, high-definition online gallery for easy viewing, sharing, and downloading.

The Boundary: Our Creative Process

To ensure your 60-minute film remains a polished work of art, I adhere to the following standards:

• Edited vs. Raw: While this film is comprehensive, it is still a professionally edited product. I remove “dead air,” technical adjustments, and any unflattering transitions to ensure the film flows beautifully. I do not deliver the unedited raw files.

• Audio Quality: I prioritize high-end audio for the ceremony and speeches. The film is a mix of the natural sounds of your day and a curated, licensed musical underscore that fits the romantic, bright vibe of your wedding.

• Standard Turnaround: “Because I personally hand-edit every frame of your 60-minute feature to ensure it meets my luminous color standards, the creative process takes time. You can expect to receive your final film gallery within 4-6 weeks of your wedding date. I believe in quality over speed, ensuring your heirloom is perfect.”
